The Finance Ministry has announced an extension of the deadline to link the Permanent Account Number (PAN) card and Aadhaar card to June 30, 2023. According to a notification by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, all unlinked PAN cards will become inoperative from July 1, 2023. Taxpayers can now link their Aadhaar to the prescribed authority for Aadhaar-PAN linking without facing repercussions before June 30, 2023. In the event that PAN cards are not linked with Aadhaar cards by the deadline of June 30, 2023, the PAN card will become non-functional. As a result, refunds will not be issued for such PANs, and interest will not accrue during the period in which the PAN is non-operational.. This feature has now been upgraded to allow up to 4 devices to be linked to a single WhatsApp account, even when the primary device is offline. WhatsApp has recently announced that users can now access their account on up to four different devices, such as a laptop, PC, or tablet, in addition to their smartphone. Once multiple devices are linked, users can easily continue their conversations seamlessly without any interruptions, which is especially useful when their phone's battery dies. The multi-device support feature ensures that chats are synced across all devices and, like most WhatsApp features, it is end-to-end encrypted.
